There’s this kid at camp whose face is all bruised up around the eyes. He missed a whole week of camp.
When I asked him about it, he said he was in a car accident… which doesn’t make much sense. When another counselor asked him about it, the kid said he wasn’t allowed to tell him.
Also, when a car pulled up to pick him up today, there was nothing wrong with it.
I hope he’s not getting abused, I’m seriously concerned.

I told her about it. The thing is, she can’t do anything unless the kid says “I’m being abused.”
The problem is that he’s also Bulgarian, and speaks fractured french and no english.so im assuming maybe you speak some french? if not, there might be another way he communicates. try talking to him and being his friend. If he is being abused, he probably needs a friend more than anything.
I’ve already started doing that. The thing is, he’s not in my group.
oh i see. if worse comes to worst, maybe just ask him?
